Put the chain onto the small chain wheel when i nudged the lever with my thumb. No way back after that! So I just worked to La ngbank and went home.

I'll wait until after Etape Cymru before returning to the track. Told minimum of 6 months to heal probably 9, so better make sure it has cemented before going back...... Looking forward to it though as it beats the turbo hands down! Enjoy

Billy A word of warning: Netherton Road, the next climb and the descent to the farm have had a pothole camouflage makeover. Renfrewshire council call this road dressing, apparently. I went round it on Sunday, both directions. Sphincter was working overtime!!! Passable but with a lot of caution.
