George,
As long as the chainset fits with the BB then it will be fine. I run campag levers with a Shimano/Sram chainset, cassete, mechs set up on my winter bike and its no problem.

Evening race down in Fenwick. Looks like there isn't many spaces left so if you want a start better get your entries in. I wont be at it as I've got a job delivering milk in July so I'l be in bed while the race is on .

Yes all been said. Pretty sure the last lap was the slowest but it was easily the hardest. Looking forward to it next year already
Thanks to Paul and the JWCC marshals.

I've been meaning to go out with the Renfrew bunch for a while but still not made it and this is the first opportunity I've had. I think it can be a better work out if you have done lots of strength training and need some speed for up coming races. I was letting everyone know I wasn't going to be there so no one wasted time waiting on me arriving and the comment on it being confusing was meant as a joke to how recently everything needs to have a huge "discussion".
Look forward to being out on a Thursday night in the future.

Heading out these days for some miles (50-80) at fastish speed. Won't be stopping for a cafe stop. Will be leaving Kilbarchan between 0900 and 1000 but can meet anybody wanting to join me anywhere really. Routes will be towards Ayrshire/Hills. Post if you would like to tag along.
Cheers David
Good Day for racing. Just enough chill in the air but nice and sunny.
Pace was good from the start but my legs were feeling a little stiff so sat at the back, they got better so I rode to near the front and instantly couldn't resist attacking. Got caught though. Attacked again and got caught again then got dropped. Lay in the sun at the finish and watched the rest of the boys suffer.
Note to self: Next time I attack don't get caught

This race is enter online via BC and is first come first served so if you were wanting to feel the pain of a hilly course then better get in soon .
