    Sunday 20th

Looks like a great route! I would have been out but my wrist is still sore even though its healed. Should be good to go after my holiday.
  3. I have look carbon pedals. Highly recommended. Go buy.
  4. I actually noticed (& i'm a bit embarassed to admit to be honest) that my chain wasnt properly threaded through my jockey wheels.
  5. Cheers guys. I tightened the cups as tight as i could by hand then a turn with the proper tool. so that should be them. As Kenny said theyve never been ridden before so probably need broken in.
  6. This kind http://www.dooleys-cycles.co.uk/product ... ductID=474
  7. Ultegra, outboard cups. goes with hollowtech 2 cranks.
  8. I didnt, thought a new frame would be ok if im honest. How tight do the cups need to be?
  9. Well done!! Thats something else, theres not one bit of flat road up there!! Ive cycled the roads up there a couple of times (the wifes from tongue) Its a great place to go for a long weekend away with the bike.
  10. Ive just fitted ultegra bottom bracket cups to my new frame (1st time ive done a diy) When i put them on originally and spun the cranks they done about half a turn which was quite rough. I removed the cranks, loosened the bb a tad, re-assembled & spun the cranks and they done about 1 and a half smooth turns. Question is. Did i do the right thing or do the cups need to be as tight as a ducks...?
