If you can't agree on where to eat on Saturday night (and after reading all the posts above I think this is fairly likely!! :? ) the Brodick Bar is a good bet (it's up the wee side street behind the chinese take away opposite all-days). Not the cheapest in the world but fantastic grub. They've got Arran blonde on tap while you wait for a table (and on a Saturday night you'll need to). Enjoy Stephen PS If you go round twice I'd be keen to know which way round you think is best. I went round anticlockwise this Easter (solo) and nearly had to pack it in on the Soutern half. The last hill between Lamlash and Brodick was awful

Not sure if there is anyone else interested but I noticed that the Johnstone telephone exchange has been upgraded to broadband capacity as of 1st October. It seems to cover a fairly large area (I'm in Houston) so may affect a large number of interested parties in the club.
