  1. I bought a pair of size 4 (large) 2007 Quick Step bib shorts last Saturday from Dooleys. Unfortunately they are just a tad too small. I've worn them twice this week for a couple of hours so basically new. Its a long shot but would like to either, 1) Swap for pair of slightly larger (I'm normally a size 4 but these are small made) or 2) Yours for £30 (cost £45) Would suit someone with slightly narrower hips or smaller bum then me !! PMcD
  2. Thanks guys - I'll be in touch soon. Kenny - pm on the way. PMcD
  3. Update on race marshalling I have 3 commits to help, Jim, Darryl and Alan from Fife. So I have 4 including myself. I need a minimum of 5, 4 on the corners and 1 in the car. I have an offer of help from a friend in Rockhard Mountain Bike Club. Before taking up this offer I thought I would post again as we should really be able to muster enough bodies from our own club. There are some club members keen to take part in the race so lets see if we can get another couple of names. thanks again PMcD
  4. Ladies and Gents This is my my annual plea for assistance in promoting the Wheelers race at Barmill on Saturday 9th June. Its painless, honest - all you need to do is commit to be available at Barmill from 11.45am to 2.30pm on Saturday 9th June. If anyone fancies a go at driving lead car for example then I'm sure it could be arranged. This race has been a succesful event with about 45 riders the past few years and the weather is usually about 80 degrees so pack the sun cream !! Please let me know on this post or by whatever means you wish if you can help. 01505 843836 07939 733 146 [email protected] carrier pigeon smoke signals etc PMcD

  19. I'm in India right now on business. Flying from Glasgow to Dubai at the weekend I met DAVID WOLFE heading home to Melbourne after visiting his Dad in Ayr. He was asking for Marco van W, Jim D, Kenny, Derek McF and others. Also asking after all the Renfrew bunch from early 90's, Jumpin Jim, Black Bob, Wille G, Drew W, Martin McKelvie (sadly no longer with us), Brian S etc. As we whiled away the hours I reckon he was missing the cold, rain, cow expletive deleted, ice etc that we all love so much. Reckon I havn't seen him for 12 years. Anyway he's in good shape and has entered the Bealach next year NOW HOW SPOOKY IS THIS 2 weeks ago at the rowing club ceididh in Lochwinnoch I met DAVID WILKIE, who was also visiting his dad who now lives in Lochwinnoch. Havn't seen him for 12 years either !! He was also asking after many club members from late 80's early 90's period - too many to mention. Anyway, back to reality, its lovely and warm here and I aint got ma bike But there is the Christmas holiday runs roon the coast to look forward to. PMcD
  20. Darryl I just watched the trailer link you posted at the start of this thread. I'm sure the guy in the the white jersey with black polka dots near the end of the video is the iron man guy from Edinburgh who crunched our legs in Girona. He looked like even he was finding it tough PMcD
  21. How do you know you didn't get in to the Bealach - is there a link on the web site? I just cannot find it PMcD
