2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted November 22, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 22, 2015 a very short notice post just in case. I plan to leave house at 10am on cross bike to ride to top of Healy Brae. Then over that track towards Fairlie moor as I just want to satisfy my curiosity and see if I can ride over to Fairlie moor road. In case anyone else up for some or all of route. 2023 Subscriptions thejanullrichdietplan Posted November 22, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 22, 2015 If you were to do that starting down at the traffic lights at the foot i reckon that must be the highest road (if the dirt section counts as a road!) climb in the west of Scotland, probably about 400 metres elevation or so
2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted November 22, 2015 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 22, 2015 Iain, you are a mine of amazing factoids. Anyway there are many Km's of gravelled road to all the windmills which I toured round for a bit. Could not believe how much more windy it is up there versus at top of Healy. Certainly blew away the cobwebs. Could not find a link to Fairlie moor road but I am sure it is doable with a bit of yomping across the moor. Just not today. KennyS
Couldn't have been that windy if you managed to retrace the breadcrumbs P McDonald
