2023 Subscriptions George Posted August 10, 2015 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 10, 2015 Seen on West of Scotland TT League Facebook page that the army have taken issue with cyclists starting & finishing at the caretakers house. Bizarrely, the caretaker laid a tripwire in the grass at the finish! This has now been removed but watch out for snipers. Anyway, seems they have decided to exclude use of the triangle area where we mull about waiting for our times. They also own the land right up to the road so no standing on grass either. Might have to review start & finish. james-maclaren
Guest EPCC
Not necessary the start is not on MOD property , so a simple solution is to use the entrance to the farm before the base and only call the rider to the start when it's his/her time Also check with the land register as the land purchased for a road is usually wider than the road james-maclaren
