Ahhh its nearly that time of year again to start Winter training.

The club again has taken on many new members.

Here some ideas and suggestion you can take part in to improve your cycling training/knowledge etc:

My plan will be to start joining in the renfrew winter bunch run which leaves

at 1030 on saturday mornings.

This run will last for just over 2.5 hours and will terminate at the "Junction" cafee at Lochwinnoch for a friendly brew and a laugh.

This run will be for base miles only and is to be done a the slowest mans pace and to encourage everyone to join in.

Usual suspects will be there such as myself , Blackboab, Les Muir and Many others.

I would like to think people will come along to the clubs tuesday and thursday Turbo program training - 7-8pm - Here you can seek advise from other established Members or Kenny McDonald etc.

Over the past few years Katrina has been running a Circuit training class on the same evenings.

I believe she will not have the time to do this again due to her being attending Manchester for the world championships track plus other trivial matters regarding the commy games.

However i dont think it would stop anyone else giving it ago.

Obviously the sunday runs will continue as normal.

January - February time head towards glengarnock for some speed

work on tuesday - thursday evenings.

What do you think?

Anybody interested.....?
