George Hamilton Posted September 14, 2005 Report Share Posted September 14, 2005 Campbell has asked me to put this on the bunch, he came off his bike yesterday on the way to work and has bruised his hip, He therefore won't be at the TT tonight........... he has asked that someone takes a note of the times and posts them onto the Bunch afterwards. KennyS Posted September 14, 2005 Report Share Posted September 14, 2005 First 2up of the year for me turned quickly into a pursuit as Vicky kindly offered to ride with me. I did manage to spell briefly before the bridge only to spend the rest of the distance trying to get onto Vicky's wheel A time of 20:08 was recorded (I think) taking aboyt 30s of by own fastest time. Vicky was obviously out for a spin at this pace but I have to say a big thanks to her. Sometimes you just have to be pushed that bit harder so that you mentally know what you can do. Jim Daly and partner recorded a 19:50 but unfortunately I didn't catch Amanda and David's time A big thanks to the GRC for the timekeeping and marshalling On a more serious note it seems that there may be trouble ahead as the police arrived at the end of the event. Although they did not approach any of us they had a word with the guy in the MOD place as we were leaving.
