About a dozen Jets were at the WOSCA omnium today for a three hour omnium including a devil, scratch, points and sprint race for all the riders. Many of them were also TTing and crit racing at Ingliston yesterday.

Great experience for the riders, some of whom wore a race number for the first time and some of whom are now very experienced and were settling old scores against rivals!

Even better experience for club coaches and parents learning how to record and score a thirty two lap points race for a dozen riders, three of whom lapped the field. If anyone can loan the club a high-speed camera please let us know.

Still awaiting final results from big G.

Lewis looking very strong as he lapped the field in the boys A points race, closely followed by Danny. Euan was making great moves too but couldn't quite maximise his attacks. Seven Jets in the A/B girls including Katie, Alana and Sarah swapping the lead in the scratch, devil and points with only a couple of rival Riderz up with them. Big efforts from Jess, Morgan, Kate and Luisa ensured they stayed in the main bunch.

Special mention to Sarah "Get off the Front" B who, after a touch of wheels, left half her skinsuit on the Ingliston track yesterday but was still ripping it up today.

In the younger group Hamish "Rage" McLaren and Douglas "Killer" Arthur took podiums and rode very smoothly. Lewis M is stlll finding his legs but finally got round the track smiling.

Big thanks to big G, Martin, Kenny and the other club coaches for the organisation.
