GreigS
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone today really enjoyed that run with a wee bit of coaching from Tony. It really does work this through and off thing so thanks again Tony for taking the time to show us how it works we continued to use this for the rest of the run and it seemed to work good with the changeovers becoming smoother im looking forward to next week to try this again well done all Greig

2023 Subscriptions carol cowan Posted July 15, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 Just a note to echo the thanks to Tony for the education this morning and to the rest of the group for the training runout. With a bit more practice at the single through and off thingy, we will be giving the main bunch a run for their money !! Dave
Tony
Nice to catch up today, Greig. Glad to be of help For info, what we were doing on our lap of the Glengarnock circuit wasn't really "through-and-off", it was the "Continental Change" as described in paragraph 3 of this article: http://www.edinburghrc.co.uk/news/281/9 ... Chain-Gang ...paragraphs 1 & 2 describe "through and off". Or you could refer to the "Continental Change" as "Double Spells" since that is what it amounts to - you take a double spell when at the front. These pictures may help (the link will only work if you have Powerpoint installed): http://www.andamento.co.uk/tony/Bunch_R ... nental.mht
