2024 Subscriptions Darryl Gunson Posted July 31, 2008 2024 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 31, 2008 Hi Lance an APR (Australian Pursuit Race) is a race where different ability groups are set off at intervals, with the 'scratch group' last to start. The objective is to cross the line first. The earlier groups need to stay away to be in with a chance (or save energy to hang on when caught), whereas the later starting groups have to catch the ones in front. It is a great format because it means that we can still have a race and some fun even though there are different abilities. I won't be along tonight, but next week... Cheers Darryl
