These to be held in the clubrooms with an 8pm start. These meetings are open to all members to attend and so please feel welcome to come along. The dates for the meetings are, Monday 3 December 2007 Monday 7 January 2008 Monday 4 February Monday 3 March Monday 7 April Monday 5 May Monday 2 June Monday 7 July Monday 4 August Monday 1 September Any changes to those dates will be posted here. We do make paper copies of minutes available to any club member attending the comm. meetings . The comm. have access to minutes on a secure part of the forum but it would not be feasible to open this to all members. Would it not be possible to allow members access by special registration? Members Kenny MacDonald Posted December 1, 2007 Members Report Share Posted December 1, 2007 Dennis adding minutes to a public forum is not something Johnstone wheelers will do for obvious reasons ie confidentiality ,financial, child protection etc etc . I find it incredulous that any club would publish full minutes on a public platform , maybe ammended minutes but these would be of little use as so much would be missing. The extra burden of adding individual members onto the list of people who can access comm. section is one we are not willing to do at present . The meetings are open to all to attend and the dtaes are published well in advance.Plus anyone can ask any comm. member questions or ask for points to be added to agenda etc. If you wish to make a proposal to club at AGM to change this practice feel free to do so. Historically we never sent minutes of meetings to members apart from AGM and this practice ceased in early 60s. As stated minutes are available on evening of meeting or if you wish can be made available on a Sunday morning at club runs leaving from clubrooms. I know that the distance you live from club rooms makes it difficult to attend meetings and electronic access would help . I will ensure your views are discussed this Monday and fed back to you.
