Committee Alan McLean Posted November 16, 2007 Committee Report Share Posted November 16, 2007 Hope to be there. we will have the pleasure of 1k of the resurfaced Langbank-Houston Road which is just yummy. west Glen Road is disintegrating fast but is ok for ascent. KennyS
Was thinking the same since I posted the route, Alan It's better to run anti-clockwise

Guest Jim Daly
I'm planning to hang onto the tail of the 30 milers tomorrow and will be on the cycle track in Bridge of Weir at the Clydesdale Bank at 8:40'ish. Jim
Committee Alan McLean Posted November 17, 2007 Committee Report Share Posted November 17, 2007 Ok Jim, I'll see you there. If I'm not there by 0840 just go. I'll have punctured or restrained by family. Back to the footie online now. One all, ten minutes to go. A

Guest Jim Daly
Bill, Alan, Ken, Andy, Andy, Davie and myself set off confidently at 9:10. 1st puncture before we reached Morrisons. 1st mechanical before we got past Morrisons. Late departure confused Frank and Martin greatly, neither being sure whether they were early or late, or coming or going. 2nd puncture and 2 drop outs before we left Houston Hardly any more incidents until coffee and cake were served at Lochwinnoch when we were rejoined by Bill. Guest Jim Daly
correction: 1 x Andy 1 x Colin Jim
Committee Alan McLean Posted November 21, 2007 Committee Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 KOM and white jersey (by ten years) to Colin. Red jersey to Jim for fixed Langster. Green to Bill because I'm feeling generous. That was the slowest mile I have ever cycled. Forty minutes from clubrooms to Morrison's (yes, that Morrison's). The Ivy, Kooriers and co. can rest easy.
