It's not often we get the local constabulary blocking off the side roads for Club Events. Disheartened by the low turn out of 3 club members and a guest the World's TV cameras had packed up by the time the riders got to the turn

 

Those that did ride were faced by a blustery headwind on the way out and of course a slight breeze on the way back. Thankfully the worst of the rain held off until all were on their way home

 

Results as follows:

 

Colin H 17mins 52secs

Vicky Begg 18mins 00secs

John Anderson 18mins 39secs

 

Stevie B, resident of Johnstone , returned from his 15mph trek across Canada to put in a time of 15mins 36secs

 

Here's hoping for a better turn-out next week and also that Colin can find out what the clunking noise is on his new shiny bike
