The final club 10 of the year saw a reasonable turnout and a moderate wind providing the usual struggle to the turn and push back home.

Times were,

Ronnie McKenna, 25.39

Howie, 27.15

John Anderson, 25.46

David Raymond, 34.12

Mike Ferguson, 26.00

Jim Daly, 23.44 (1st on night)

Campbell Crombie, 26.06

Thanks to the numerous helpers :-o

Timekeepers - Ian Manson / Kenny Steele

Pusher Off - Stevie Blom

Next Thursday sees a return to Georgetown Road and the first of several weeks of 2-Up TTT.

These events are really good fun (and hard work) and I would encourage everyone to come along and have a go.

I really enjoyed tonight, even got a PB so can't complain.

I need to ask a couple of things:

Who do I speak to about membership?

What's the story for next week, do you have to be a member or is it open?

How are teams organised, I realise that some people will pre arrange their partnerships, but can you just turn up and geta slot with someone.

I really fancy the sound of it, but I don't have any experience of 2up TT

Well done. You looked as though you were going strongly to the finish so I suspect you will bring the PB down next year.

Either myself or Kenny Steele or if you venture out on a sunday run, Dave McKellar

You can come along next week as a club guest

Yes you can turn up. If there is no-one else available I will ride it with you. Quite often people prefer to ride solo but I have to say, in my opinion, the team trials are really enjoyable and rewarding.

Nor do many people. I remember the first ones I did,, you get support and a rest from your colleagues and unsurprisingly you get a lot better a time.

As a wee test, if you haven't ridden the Georgetown course before, give it your absolute best solo effort. I'd be surprised if the 2-Up time isnt significantly faster.
