Dont know if it features in the route but the B789 (the road the hilly TT is on ) was closed tonight looks like they are chopping down trees or something
I don’t think so jan unless it’s down near the gleddoch?
Let me know if you guys are doing a different route - I’ll be doing the normal hill loop x3.
-
yes most likely

Anyone for bogs bunch Tuesday night?
I might be free tomorrow night - whats the script with the Bogs then Paul? similar to our own chainy? I think Jan was saying that folk tend to sit in a bit more and not everyone works?

Billy, I think group rides are ok. I'll bet all but the most hilly KOMs were done in bunch with tailwind anyway.
Even if you ban groups people will still work covertly with their pals, I know I would.
Only the very saddest person would then look through fly-bys etc to see who was domestique-ing who. (I do that too)
All fair in love and Strava. A sense of the ridiculousness is good.
I would get out more but I have to wait for my Garmin to recharge.
I’m trying to convince the misses that driving along with the boot lid open in the act of ultimate motor pacing is a legit segment of the week tactic.
Thus far she is not buying it.

Away for the weekend other wise would be keen.

wow. this topic has gone full strava saddo, fantastic. This is on my way home from work so hope to have a look if wind goes north.
Assuming no-one has an tricked out Emonda, or a Quick Step lead out train, then we're pretty much just comparing max power/kg over 30 secs. I wouldn't get anywhere near the necessary 8w/kg or so. but some of you big-butted sprinters could do it (looking at you Jan, 670w should do it)
Always have to put the power down ten metres before any segment to avoid dreaded lag.
10.33wpk for me.

I did wonder how that guy went from 5 seconds behind to 2 in front in 20m!
-
Marked man now!
Its alright Ian anything over 3-4 minutes and I’ll soon know my place!
(I will get that kom now, even if it takes me all season)
-
Decent time into a headwind. With favourable conditions the KOM is there for the taking. Friday morning will be my last chance for an attempt this week. Not looking good.
-
Good solid run in decent weather.
-
This one is nasty.
-
I sent up the Velo games one last year.
Transfers! Cheating!
...I’m in. Will get my team done tomorrow Paul.
-
In if dry.
-
weather depending.
-
Much the same for me. Looks grim out there.
-
Also working.
-
Probably not tonight. Tight for time.

-
Good effort getting out.

Miles to windy for me tonight!

I'll check my diary but if I'm free I'd give this a bash - might need to borrow that CX bike though.
