Great run today, well worth the early misery of fog and ice - billy if you should ever decide to wear white mascara I think you would suit it! Stunning views of Arran, and was even quite warm in the sun when standing around waiting for billy, a regular theme. I was just trying to psyche you out Alex, would of lit my cigar if I didn't have my gloves on!

Not much to add, enjoyed the ride in a strange way & I actually felt quite good! Sat here with two hoodies on now though. Needless to say the bike isn't getting cleaned today. Billy should be awarded the VC for making it to Largs on his own, or was it foolishness rather than bravery...

I think we should be more concerned with the fact there were no saltires or blue face paint today pace was very good from Largs onwards (albeit with a slight tailwind), much more consistent pace with stronger riders taking longer turns & those suffering still managing to contribute at the front. All miles are good miles, and no miles are bad miles

Great weather and a great ride today. Slow going early doors with three punctures before Kilwinning (none for me thankfully) . Then a smooth run home, including a stop at the bagel basket. Headwinds only really a feature between adrosaan and WK which Mr Couttie did a grand job soaking up for us all!

I can't make this week, have my velodrome Acc 1. session at 12. Will be out on Sunday to make up for it.

Does anyone have a magic spoke tightening device that they could bring along? I've just realised I have several wobbly ones...
