Selling Adam's track frameset as he has further indulged his carbon fixation with a new purchase.

For sale is a 58cm white alloy track frame with blue Planet X track fork. Sale includes headset and carbon steerer bung, but not bottom bracket (English thread).

The frame was bought from Alistair Gow at Wheelcraft last year and is roughly equivalent to the Dolan Track Champ with butted / shaped tubes. The aero track fork was bought from Planet X and normally sells for £150 on its own. I think it's fair to describe the condition of both frame and fork as immaculate. Selling for £220.

Thanks to all for allowing Adam to play with the big boys on a classic Cowal route. A high speed blowout on one of the descents was a interesting learning point for him, as was when he tried to slow up quickly from 47mph for a sharp bend - he had even selected the softest looking bush when he made it round.

Blew the cost savings on Continental Supersonic inner tubes - so potentially a total weight saving of 500g

Thanks for the responses. I went for the Diamante Pro Pista on the basis that they're currently a bit cheaper than the others.

On a side note, I was amazed at the weight difference between the stock Zaffiro tyres which weigh 350g each against the 150g claimed for all of the above options - you don't need to be a weight weenie to notice a 400g difference!

I'm looking to replace the tyres on Adam's track bike and get something a bit better than the Zaffiro slicks that came as stock on his Dolan Precursa. Any recommendations?
