  3. Based on Darryl's Garmin 18.2 average moving speed
  4. Darryl giving it waldy and Fergus is not paying attention!
  5. 95 miles for me. Great run out over Esrkine, along the coast to Faslane. Ross and Alan, now known as the thunderthigh twins kept us sheltered when they went the the front. And then the whistlefield climb! Painful. Ross and Fergus were strong on the climb but to be fair Darryl showed them how to do it. After an amazing decent we regrouped and went along for café stop at Kilcreggan. Excellent scones! Ross fuelled himself on eggs. If you we're there you'll know what this means. Straight run back along the coast. Despite everyone being tired, everyone was strong and the craic was flowing. More of this brisk, friendly main bunch medicine required! Andy PS. Nae sunshine.
  6. Looking forward to an excellent main bunch ride up the Rosneath Peninsula. I think we had this sorted by post number 5. Andy
  7. The pain train delivered. Well done Hugh for putting in the most consistently monumental efforts all evening and Ross for taking line by a country mile! Andy

Yes indeed. Round of applause for Ramsay, Kenny and James for timing, holding and shoving. Andy
  14. So I says "You go on Fabian" He says "Naw.....have you got gels and stuff?" I says "Aye" And off the man goes. I was somewhat relieved. We must have been doing a hell of a pace because I got home a good 15 minutes earlier than usual for that route on a main bunch ride.

    Saturday 30

Send them to me and I'll Facebook them George. Great run today. Good craic all the was down to Largs. Joined by a Paisley Velo gents, James and Steve. Ross had double egg and bacon at Das Bagelhausen and then took us up the Brisbane Glen. Snowball fight ruined Ross's strava but nobody cared. Down into Greenock then up the Clune. All observed young Gorgeous in time trial form. Watch out Tuesday nighters!!

  20. Great day on the bike with good craic and banter on the way out to Largs. Very fast and fun. Fun really started though when we turned up into the West Kilbride to Dalry road. A fierce icy headwind didn't just hurt the body but sucked out the spirit too! Took the cycle-path back after Kilbirnie when we had to work hard to keep on Paul's wheel. You could tell he was pleased to be getting home! I reckon 70 to 75 miles today. Paul sorry we missed you today! Respect though for taking the route over the hills! Andy
  21. We've got a ticket to ride Just jammin' Andy
