  1. Could I get my full name McAshworth on the collar please? Wouldn't want to risk being mistaken for anyone else! Thanks - hope it's not too late! M
  2. Well done on the design - you're going to look splendid! And, if it's not too late, I too will sign up for the Home Guard - medium and McAsh on the collar please. Thanks Mary
  3. mmmh..? Not a huge amount of interest in this suggestion. The weather forecast for 2nd now predicts temps of 2-5 degrees, 27-30 mph winds, and cloud + rain or light snow. Oh, and the cafe is shut! All things considered, might be best to do this another time? Mary
  4. I'll come along, and Iain too. Happy with 10.30 start at Clubrooms? Mary
  5. Happy Hols everyone... I was wondering if anyone fancied a New Year jaunt to Dunoon on 2nd January? Any takers for an overland (longer run) group and a (shorter run) ferry group, then we could meet up for a cuppa at Strachur/chum back to the ferry? Mary
  6. Looks to be drying up now so Iain and I will join you. I'll be with pannier, so can be in charge of hip flasks or other such emergency equipment! See you in the morning M
  7. Enjoyed it today though I was cold after getting wet - Great to see snow in the hills too! M
  8. I enjoyed my trips out with the intermediate group Tony, though I haven't managed along since I came back from my hols. Looking forward to joining in again next year. And well done on the organising/route planning front - a good job done! Mary
  9. I'd be interested in joining you would we need to design an "away" top? If so I favour a copy of the Italian one!
  10. Sorry to have lost you today - it all started with the need for a pit stop! Brian kindly waited at the roundabout at Stewarton but we couldn't see anyone at the lights and I unfortunately took us the wrong road over to Fenwick/cycle path. Worked out we had gone the wrong way so wended our way back via Barrhead. I know all this sounds like an elaborate plan to avoid the Gleniffer Braes - it worked beautifully and was worth the puncture! Hope you all had a good run and got round hassle free. Sorry Brian and thanks again. I won't be about for the next few weekends as on holiday but will look forward to joining up for some of the runs from mid-November. Mary
  11. Enjoyed today thanks - the revised route was perfect for the weather!
  12. What is this talk of winter? I'm still hopeful that I''ll need factor 15! Mary
  13. Hi Billy/Richard Like Richard I'm expecting glorious sunshine so I'll tag along if I may - at least for a bit! I'll ride my fixie too and catch Richard at Paisley Road W. Iain
  14. I won't be joining you this morning - very wet here. Hope it is drier/dries up up for you. Mary
  15. I would like to join in too and will either exit with Chung, or head back to Glasgow via Barrhead. Mary
  16. I'll join you too, is it a 9 sharp start? Mary
  17. Good Luck to all JWCC Pedallers for Scotland - hope you have a great run and the weather is kind to you! Mary and Iain
  18. Away the next couple of weekend, but hope to be able to join in soon Mary
  19. Looks like a great run but I have limited time available on Sunday and no transport, so will head out with the 30 milers and hope to team up with you another time. Hope you have fun. Mary
  20. Sorry I missed you this morning - I had a puncture on the way over and was a bit late. I hought I'd put a bit more air in my tyre when I got to the clubrooms and then try to catch up with you but I damaged the inner tube and had to replace that also so I gave up and sauntered home. Still... looking on the bright side, I am now a seasoned puncture mender and I made productive use of the rest of the morning, retrieving my sock from up the hoover and prancing about the house in my shiny new cycling shoes - shades required for Tuesday chaps! Hope you had a good run. Mary
