Hi Guys, I don't mind two or three pick-ups in the Renfrewshire area, so that makes 6; me, Johnny, Jim, Martin & 2 Jets. There is plenty of room behind the back seats for about 6 bikes and gear. We can firm up on times and fine detail, later in the week. First come, first served for the remaining 3 seats! Sounds like it could be a great day. W

If all the guys going next weekend to race can get organised and desire it, I can get a company minibus to take us there - room for 9 people including the driver (me!) and about 5 bikes on board. This is a freebie, but somebody else has to organise a central pick-up! W

I noticed that we could do with a more organised recording sheet, so I made one up for this week. I'll get there early to help out. I don't mind doing the timekeeping sometime in the future when I've got back into this time-trialling malarkey. As a returner to the cycling game after 30 years, I have been pretty alarmed at the constant danger from the passing cars at the events. Shouldn't we be putting up some warning signs, at least? Johnny's saddle is now glued in position - so no excuses this week - or at least not that one!
