I 'm goin to have to wimp out of this, I'm afraid. Down with the flu. Been off work, off the bike, off the dance floor, stuck in house-gutted. Have a great day guys
That's me entered. May the sun god be with us on that day. Got good memories of doing it 4 years ago-good roads and good cafe stops. Sat outside for the lunch stop-that's the weather we're wanting!
Hope to be out tomorrow. Dying to find out about this horible wee hill!! Was out past Bishopton during the week and out the road that goes past Ingleston horse riding place then into Port Glasgow. Must be somewhere about there Eh?
Brilliant day. Thanks to Sherpa Tony for getting us up to base camp above the clouds and guiding us through the mountain trails. Did the whole thing without oxygen as well!
Views looking down on the fog covered clyde valley were unforgettable.

I'd echo all that colin said. Having had 2 days to recover I'd certainly consider it again. The first 100 miles was great apart from the weather but that last hill was somethin else!!
It was just as well I was on my own on the way up it. Alan describes it as super but I'm afraid I had other words coming out of my mouth beginning with S, F and all the rest Apologies if anybody heard me but frozen stiff, knackered and blood sugar level in the negative makes you delirious.
WHO ATE ALL THE GRUB?
Enjoyed the company and looking forward the the next run.
