We actually got to ride in the sunshine today at Blair Drummond.
Kenny Christie kept up his good form and cracked the hour at only his second attempt with a 59.13
He also made the right decision not to wait for the prize giving and times to be read out as there was a delay of over an hour. Do not understand why they do not write the gross times up on a board for everyone to see immediately.
Although conditions were good the winning time was 54.02 because of all the roundabouts.
I managed to get my best time for three years with a 62.03 so I was also happy.
