ian It was a great pull along the west ferry - you looked like a cyclist, while I looked like a fish out of water chewing the handlebars. As for that young mullholigan!!! just goes to show what an extra 30 odd years and about 10 stone will do to you. not going to make next weeks run - see you all in two weeks.

as an aging unfit slightly overweight returner can I join you? I can fit 4/5 in the car if need be - 2 or maybe 3 bikes on the rear carrier - probably best if you dont mind a scratch or 2 and another 1 or 2 in the boot of you take the front wheel off. I am offering the car as that way someone will have to wait for me to get a lift home? I will be coming from Erskine if anyone wants picked up on the way to clubrooms. if it doesnt hurt too much I may even pay club fees

Road bike wanted My pal (I do have one) is looking for a half decent road bike. I will be mostly used for commuting and a bit of training as he has done a few triathalons. so a high end winter bike would probably suit. He is currently using one of my bikes but is looking to spend some hard cash on his own. Anyone got something in their garage / shed / attic to suit a 6 footer with size 10 1/2 feet - he needs shoes too. Cash waiting (as they say) cheers

Good game last night is windy conditions. The intrepid Rusty Alasdair family seemed unstoppable with some very skilled / lucky play but they were soon overhauled by a stronger opposition At least that's how I remember it. Think we finished with an honourable draw. Same again next week.
