Guys and gals I have a number of confirms and some maybe's to assist with marshalling this event. I will need an absolute minimum of 4 marshalls for the 4 left hand turns. So far confirmed are (thanks guys) Steve Hickey Dave McKellar Ian Manson my Dad - I'm making an assumption for him! Is anyone else available from 11.30am to 2.30 pm on 7th May please? 3 other things, 1) Could the JWCC members attending ( either to race or marshall) bring a loaf worth of sandwiches please. Those attending on their bike can be excused!! Can you let me know if you are bringing sandwiches for planning purposes. 2) Could those atttending as marshalls bring mobile phones if they have them. This is a plus point for the risk assessment. 3) Finally - for now - can anyone confirm if the flags and signs are in the container adjacent to the clubrooms? ta PMcD

Well done Steve for organising this, despite the truly atrocious weather at the start the camaraderie and atmosphere was excellent. Derek McIlhinney put in a couple of laps with the scratch group to help us on our way as well. He arrived just before we set off. I'd be up for a round 2. PMcD

Barmill Race I got the race numbers and bibs from the clubrooms last night. Does anyone know the wherabouts of the race flags and signs that were once in circulation??? regards Inspector Cleuseau

The TLI race at Barmill is now Saturday 7th May, at 12 noon, and is noted on the web site and calendar as that date. The strip and police permission are sorted. I've had some kind offers of help from various bods including Ian M, Steve H, Darryl McG, Stevie B and Ken McD. However chaps you probably thought the date was 8th May I could really do with knowing who would be available from 11.30am to about 2.30pm on Saturday 7th May for marshalling and finish line duties.
