  1. Tony Thanks I've said to the others either 1) Between 9 and 9.30am at Barmill Hall or 2) 9.50/9.55am at Greenacres Be great if you can let me know your plan. Thanks Paul
  2. All the very best Vicky - enjoy the trip. PMcD
  3. Please see below a post I put on the Braveheart site tonight after much pain with Scottish Water. To the kind offers of assistance can I ask you to confirm by pm if you are still available so I can get organised - thanks again. Will need you at Barmill Hall for 9.30am latest or at Greenacres entrance at 10am - I plan to bring all the riders over from Barmill at 9.45am. Ladies and Gents Please be aware of a course change due to the (alleged)incompetence of Scottish Water in removing traffic lights from the favoured circuit. Fear not - youse will get another chance to ride the West of Scotland equivalent of Flanders as the race will now be run on the same course as the Super 6 earlier this year. SAME STRIP - BARMILL HALL. BE THERE EARLY AS WE WILL DEPART ABOUT 9.45AM TO RIDE OVER TO THE NEW CIRCUIT. I'll make up a number of laps on the day in the region of 5 which is about 40 something miles. Designer carbon wheels not recommended - there are some 'rough' patches. 2 groups, over and under 40's - this could change depending on the weather. Entry on day ok for me. Weather as always has been pre arranged. See you there PMcD

  8. Just thought I'd mention that there are plenty of places available at 7pm tomorrow night if anyone fancies a 29 mile APR at Fenwick Hall. Got start sheet with only 18 pre entered but usually plenty more on the night. PMcD
  9. Jim I have those water bottles you mentioned ! I'll get them back to you soon. Yesterday was a baptism of fire for me back racing after 2 months. On a similar theme to Alan - I knew what had to be done - my legs just wouldn't do it. PMcD
  10. Thanks for all the offers so far - Alan McL had also previously offered help. Its always a relief to get this bit organised and its one less thing to worry about on the day. PMcD
  11. Have a good one chaps. On Sunday morning I plan to ride in the opposite direction over to Stathclyde Park to join my daughter at a rowing regatta. Hope the weather is up to the standard of this week.
  12. Hello all, its my annual plea for assistance to run the race on Saturday 31st May. This year it is part of the TLI Superior 7 series !! Anyway, any offers of help from 9.30am to 12.30 / 1pm on Saturday 31st May will be very gratefully received. As usual I have arranged for the weather to be 75 degrees plus so you can bank on basking in glorious sunshine as previous sun kissed marshalls will confirm. thanks PMcD
  13. Well done to the 3 of you. Sounded like a good event. You guys must be fit running and cycling in the same race !
  14. Well done to the 3 of you. Sounded like a good event. You guys must be fit running and cycling in the same race !
  15. Pair of 2008 bib shorts worn twice, 2nd time today. Size 4 but made a bit smaller than the previous version, and just a bit small for me ! Yours for £15 or swap for pair of size 5 or else a pair of Pro Vision size 4 previous version (JWCC or other colours) pm or email if interested PMcD
  16. Jim I was so impressed you were riding I rode up this afternoon to give you a shout. The 4th lap was in progress when I got there and I can tell you there were no more than 30 left in the race ( from reportedly 75 signed on) in 4 seperate groups. And the wind must have been an absolute leg breaker. Stick with it - I hope to be able to join you in your endeavours soon. PMcD
  17. Howie I am tied up Saturday morning but thought I would mention I plan to do the Galston transmitter or something similar on Saturday afternoon if anyone interested. Around 1.30pm to 5pm. cheers PMcD
  18. Good to hear you're giving this one a go Alan. Whilst desperate to ride, I'm going to wait until nearer the closing date due to not having raced since March 1st and only having rode the bike intermittently since then. cheers PMcD

  22. Hello Stevie Thanks but I've entered the APR at Moscow on Saturday. A 4 hour coast run is a bit much for a warm up Enjoy the burn adios for now PMcD
  23. Hello Jim Howie and I had the 'pleasure' of intervals in the wind after a very pleasant run. I've entered the Loudon APR next week if you're doing it. PMcD
  24. I'm planning to head out for about 2 hours at 8.30am if anyone interested. Back roads and short sharp stuff. Jim D - If you want we could do 1.5 hours and end up at Glengarnock to do the interval session we spoke about? beunos dias PMcD
