But since Mark is top coach would anyone be interested in Marks previous request that he comes down the club house for a few hours for free. Yeah that's correct , Just called him on his mobile to say hello and he was in very low spirits as he had his heart set on seeing us all. Darryl he eh was in debate with the airline and turns out a figure of 600 euro was to be payed up for him to get a return ticket. thats about 400 quid. its sad news but im sure he will have other times - im sure we could visit him too? O what fun to ride your bike on ice HOHOHOHOHO Got some how out of bed and mafde it i time to the swing bridge to meet Black boab and CO. as darryl says all in attendance except for Simoni Simpson (Team Pannieri) made it out. Stevie Blom , Black Boab , Les Muir , Donald scally , Scott Donaldson , darryl Gunson , Young Scott Robertson , stuart McManus , Derek Mchilhiney........ Not a bad bunch cruising about the back roads up by the gleddoch where we met our big pal Black ice. Some of us tried to stay on our bike but thats wasnt the case as i and a few others slipped , fell , walked a mile into safety. Out for just over an hour and decided to head back on the main roads hoping they would be gritted , so off we go and direction lochwinnoch for a brew. What a shame as we had a good working bunch and would have been a great work out between us all if the baltic ice conditions hadnt interfeared. Over and oot! Brian , After a full year in the JWCC Club kit i must admit that the quality of it is Not so good. It brake's away in the seems and it auw falws tae bitS after a good summers use.. But I got an old JWCC top from way back and its made from Tal or Alexa or something but the material its mad of is excelent. You could tie each end to a couple of Mini's and they still wouldnt rip it up. Put it this if my large structure can last in that top without breaking up its the BOMB! Anyone else got any thoughts im sure some of the senior/vet members have had a fair share of Kit over the last ? years................... Kat! A great read indeed and shows just what a class act you ARE! Hopefully your story can explain and show others in the club what it takes to get your goals and reach the very top! Dear fellow riders , Most you will now know that myself and Pete are selected to maintain the upkeep of the clubroom premises. We have made up selected plans to revamp the place making it look better and fresher! We both had words with Kenny Mac and checked out the building and found out that much work has to be completed. We will be starting cleaning out the Ladies/Gents toilets plus the store room. I will later post a request for a voluntary work party of club members who can spare a few hours at the weekend. I will explain what when how why etc etc etc once i have spoken to other involved. Yeah Kenny we headed straight on to the next town. we then cut off at beith where Kat and George headed back to Paisley area. Once we cut by Beith we then made our ways to Lochwinnoch. Everyone joined together and made our way up the col de john followed by the col de telegraph and the last prime into howwood.New member Jim (trains with Mark Atkinson on a saturday ) took each climb at 120 revs with ease.(this mans doing next years ETAPE- hard stuff this time over 4 pyranees climbs 177KM) Very enjoyable day out with great weather , a good 3.5hrs out on the bike well done folks. Well that's a log story short but please add some more if were out....
