2023 Subscriptions robster82 Posted January 2, 2018 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted January 2, 2018 I've only done it in November Iain but I know a couple of guys that have went up in July with no problems, 1 of them is not as strong a cyclist as you are. Leave as early as possible with plenty water, plan your stops, Vilaflor is the last wee village to fuel up then there's the Parador hotel at the top. Temp should be ok due to altitude as even in July it is not too hot high in the mountains. If memory serves it takes best part of 3 hours climbing so as much a mental challenge as anything.
