james-maclaren
Callander Cycle Challenge 2016 offers choice of 3 routes. Most of the routes are off road or along quiet back roads in this beautiful part of Scotland. Check in is at the Callander car park opposite the Dreadnaught Hotel. Route 3 Callander to Killin – 50 milesStarting the same as Route 1 & 2 but from Stratyre pick up the new cycle route at the bridge in Strathyre and follow the path to the Kingshouse Road, picking up the cycle route. Follow the cycle path up above Lochearnhead and into Glen Ogle. The route continues up Glen Ogle with spectacular views down the Glen from the former railway viaduct. At the top of the Glen cross the road and follow the forestry path down into Killin. Remember if you go down into Killin you have to cycle back up. Take time to view the falls in Killin before returning the same route. You do need to be a seasoned cyclist and fit for this route. http://www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk/get-involved/join-an-event/callander-cycle-challenge-2016#
