KennyS
The following has been received from Scottish Cycling ----------------------------------- With the Jets/Wheelers to be a part of the regional development group, we have an opportunity for riders to receive some track coaching this Sunday morning and would like to offer some spaces to your club. Riders do need to be track accredited and have their own track bikes and we do need them to be over 18 years of age. There’s more information below.. We are running a Level 2 Track DSU this weekend 18/19th April and require some riders on the Sunday to be coached. We are looking for 5 or 6 riders to be coached by the candidate L2 Track coaches. There is a double benefit 1. Riders get a good coaching session and potentially learn something new 2. The coaches get to experience coaching actual riders that they will in their clubs. Riders must be accredited for the track and be aware that this session will be focussed on the assessment of the candidate coaches, so they may be expected to carry out some beginner technique work and have a short wait between candidate assessments. If you could offer this out to your riders could you get them to contact [email protected] to confirm their attendance. Riders will be given Tea and biscuits after the session. Details Number of riders required: 5-6 Experience: some race and MUST be track accredited Equipment required: Track Bike, suitable clothing, helmet etc Time: 09:00-13:00, ready to ride the track by 09.15 Location: Emirates Arena Meeting point: Emirates café
