2023 Subscriptions AlanT Posted September 16, 2014 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 16, 2014 I'm a bit time constrained this weekend, so I'm contemplating a 40-ish mile run, clubhouse-Georgetown, Bishopton, Westferry, Clune, Kilmacolm, Lochwinnoch and back to Johnstone. Under 3 hours including a leisurely cafe stop at Lochwinnoch. Anyone else?
2023 Subscriptions BoydJohnston Posted September 20, 2014 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 20, 2014 Alan, I may join you for this one as I want to be up at Bellahouston for 12:30 or so.
2023 Subscriptions AlanT Posted September 21, 2014 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 21, 2014 45 miles all in and around 2500 feet of climbing, starting with 8 in the bunch. Big well done to Martin Z on his first bunch run, Charlie stepping up from the juniors and Euan on his mountain bike, also on a first bunch run. The route varied a bit from posted, taking in more uphill than planned (thanks Boyd) with a glorious day, if a bit cool starting out. 2023 Subscriptions BoydJohnston Posted September 21, 2014 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 21, 2014 Thanks for the run, Alan. I'm sure the extra hill work will pay off on the track PS It was Euan on the mountain bike - as I found out later in the run.
