Register at The AVD Festival Marquee on Hawkcraig Road, Aberdour (SatNav: KY3 0XB) between 13.00 and 16.30, no entries accepted after 16:00. – 4.45pm Youth, Novice and U16s Race starts – £8.00 – 5.45pm Vets, Junior and Women’s Race starts – £15.00 – 6.45pm Men’s Open starts – £15.00 See here for more details - www.rondebike.com/culture/events Course should not be too tricky and is mainly park and woodland. Hamish entered the under 16s race, preferring the extra challenge to the smaller under 12s course. It was an eye opener for him, but he did well. I entered the vets race. I am sure the whisky made me go faster! I especially liked flying into the bottom corner with the back wheel locked up to a dismount over the planks. Think we will try and do that one again next year. Maybe take a tent so we can stay over and enjoy the evening festival entertainment. Unlucky Phil to hit the bin, but you weren't the only one.
