Cycling core work - avoiding injuries

Heres a list of common aches and pains on the bike, and typical bikefit solutions. For example, I've been suffering from pain between the shoulderblades recently, and possible solutions include:

1) Raising the handlebars

2) Using a shorter stem

3) Looking up the road without moving head upwards (craning neck), relying on eye movement more.

4) Trying not to lockout arms (i.e. bend the elbows more)

May be of help to others. Cheers, Scott
