Richie Cross
Hi folks, Driving home this afternoon, not far out of Stewarton towards Dunlop, and I drove past a guy in full Rapha gear on a Condor bike...getting paced behind a motorbike! Just curious if anyone had seen him before? Looking on the team list, they have a Scot, James McCallum, on their books.
2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted March 20, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 Richie, Can't remember where James is based, but it is bery likely that it was him. Even as a pro he has been racing the Scottish races for a lot of years now. I have certainly taken a good kicking from him in what was the Super 6, as I know Paul McD and others have. I think he was doing a lot on the track earlier in the year (may still be). R
Guest GEORGE DONNELLY
Most likely him. I read that he rode through from home in Edinburgh to Bellahouston Park, rode and won the criterium, in the rain, then rode home again. 50 miles each way & a crit win. Must up the training
Richie Cross
Ah, cheers. Hadn't seen that kind of training out on our roads before.
2023 Subscriptions thejanullrichdietplan Posted March 20, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 I saw him up the braes about this time last year, he was doing some sprint training along Ferenze road (or whatever the road is called that goes downhill towards Glennifer road). I guess trying to simulate the speed he'd be coming out a bunch at.
