Specialized Alley Sport - good starter bike or swap

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Selling on behalf of brother-in-law.

Specialized Alley Sport

Bike is approx 6 years old but only used approx 3,000 miles. Great condition in a metallic silver colour. All gear as standard with the bike and only a few marks at bottom forks and on brake levers due to a beginner with clip-in pedals (it was funny at the time icon_blue_laugh). Happy to sell or swap for commuter/tourer ideally with 700 wheels for light touring.

Spec below:

  1. Size L (suit 5' 7' to 6' 2" roughly as long seat-post).
  2. Tiagra all round
  3. Triple chainset (think it's 170 cranks)
  4. 9 sp standard cassette
  5. Tiagra brakes
  6. Talco GX460 wheels
  7. Conti Duraskin tyres
  8. Specilaized saddle, stem, bars

The bike doesn't have eyelets for mudguards or a rack.

I'll try and post some pictures, or can email them to you.

Looking for £250 ono.

Call or text Al on 07740832825 or pm me.

Thx,

Al

Hi, Al,

My neighbour over the road is thinking of changing from hybrid to road having seen me going out in my Wheelers gear on my road bikes. I will have a word with him and get back to you.

My winter bike is a 2003 Specialized Allez Sport and it has done good service for me.
