Stuggled with shimano sl for a while, easy enough to clip in but found more kick out required with heel than spd to unclip. KennyS Posted November 2, 2012 Report Share Posted November 2, 2012 Nothing wrong with SPD SLs. Will just take some time. Adjust the tension to suit your preference (small alen key hole and indicator to rear). If you already have the yellow cleats then you already have float although some say that if you're properly set up you don't need float.
