2023 Subscriptions BoydJohnston Posted July 27, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 27, 2012 Was thinking of joining the 30-milers as far as Gourock, then continuing down the coast and up onto Fairlie Moor - or maybe a less severe route home (depending on who's there) - as I don't have time for a trip doon the watter. Anybody else coming along?
Guest
Dominic and I may join you. Roughly how far do you plan to go?
Stanley Accrington
Me too, but would probably need to walk up the steep side of Fairley Moor - so please wait at the top! Mary
2023 Subscriptions BoydJohnston Posted July 28, 2012 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 28, 2012 I did pretty much the same run at the beginning of June and got home with 63 miles on the clock - which includes about 6 miles to and from Miller St. We can have a cake stop in Largs and cut the run a bit shorter by heading home via Haylie Brae or find a route that's a bit easier by heading further down towards West Kilbride before turning off. We can decide when we get to Largs and see how the weather is and how everybody is feeling. See you all in the morning.

Stanley Accrington
A good "combo" run today, chumming the 30 milers to Gourouck initially. The intermediates headed for Largs, where the fast chaps caught up with us just in time for the cafe stop. We came home via Brisbane Glen, the Whynn (sp?) and the track from Kilamcolm. Very enjoyable, thanks Mary p.s Hope Dave's OK. p.p.s. We got wet too - several times!
