Alan Fox
Iain, I have a Thule 2 bike tow ball carrier where the bikes sit on the frame. Fits and removes in seconds and I have no issues with it. I've no experience of the 'hand-on' style. You're welcome to try the carrier out if it will help. Pauline Aitchison
We have a Thule Euroride 141. We can access the tail gate without removing the bikes. Very impressive. We would certainly recommend this.
Committee Alan McLean Posted April 14, 2012 Committee Report Share Posted April 14, 2012 My Witter carrier is very strong and simple and cheap but cannot access boot when loaded. Highly recommended if you would like a two second fit. Big steel tube drops onto two hitch tube and then forked carrier drops onto steel tube.
