Administrators Jannza Posted December 29, 2011 Administrators Report Share Posted December 29, 2011 Anyone use Look keo or Time pedals? Or any other pedals for road shoes. Looking to buy a new set of pedals for the +1 and thinking of changing from Shimano SPD-SL. I already have a pair of expensive carbon road shoes but the SL's are difficult to unclip especially at short notice with the tension at mimimum. Are Looks or Time any easier to unclip especially uphill?
Richie Cross
Hi Jan, I've used Time pedals for 7 or 8 years without a problem. Moved from the alloy(?) Time Compact to the RXS Carbon and they've been great. They have a few degrees of float so your foot can move about. I've still got the Compacts that you can try out and if you like them, keep them. Only thing I don't have are spare Time cleats.

When someone presses the button to cross they change very quickly and quite often half to unclip and stop.

Thanks for the offer Richie, I've decided to go with a set of Look pedals so I can take advantage of Dooleys cleat setup service
