Kinda like a Rapha advert but real. Bagel Basket. Expressos. Cycled out of cold fog into sunshine. Even Gourock looked dramatic in mist. Tight formation of fifteen Wheelers, everyone polite, no half-wheeling or posing. Fine company. Topics included Italy, Ghent six day and Tom's nice bike. No punctures. And Nardini's has brilliant new/retro signage which looked great in b&w smeared low sunlight and haze. But Basket of Bagels remains fave. I tell you, I've been thinking a lot about this..
