Kenny Christie
Id be looking for like for like as a replacement Iain. How old is your Trek? A new 6500 retails at £949, the Haro at around £899. A bit of a discrepancy there. However, if your Trek was 10 years old and had a hard life then its not going to be worth much. Depends on the circumstances.
HMC
just been looking at last months edition of What Mountain Bike (sept 2011) and they have a review of the Haro Flighline Comp, which is one level below the expert, retails at £830, the expert retails at £999. It got a pretty low score but in summary it did say tha frame and build quailty was excellent but was let down by its components. Cant say i have ridden any Haro bikes i remember then as a kid when they made the best BMX bikes. From personal taste and looking at the pics, the Trek seems the better bike.
