COLZOR
Hi there, went a couple of runs with some friendly Johnstone Wheelers a few years ago but unfortunately fell away due to work commitments etc.... Caught Tour de France fever this year, bought a new bike and really want to get back into some group cycling. Wondering if anyone could recommend an easy run I might be able to tag along on to help clear the rust?!? Any info much appreciated!! Cheers Colin
Richie Cross
Hi Colin. Welcome to the club. Have a look at the club runs section and you'll see the 30 milers will be ideal for a returning run for you. You won't have to worry about being left on your own etc.
COLZOR
Thank you Richie, I will keep an eye out for the 30 milers. Really looking forward to getting back out again! I will go a few runs after work over the next couple of weeks to ensure I'm in reasonable shape and not holding anyone up! Hopefully see you out there soon. Cheers
Richie Cross
Don't worry about what shape you may or may not be in You'll know what the terrain of the route will be in advance, what the mileage is and the bail out points so just get stuck in. It's so much better riding in a group
