2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted April 22, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted April 22, 2011 I have just been down to Straiton to ride the off road section of the Davie Bell. It's excellent, but will be really tough. It must be about 4 miles or so of forest road! Only down side of the whole thing is that the main road you join at the end is in such a shocking state that the race may not be able to run, because it is a 35-40mph descent (I met the organiser from Ayr Roads CC). Hopefully the council can do some serious patching. Would be great to see a good JWCC team. Who's up for it? Cheers, R P.S. - Flanders cobbles were great training for this.
