Richie Cross
when I was out in the car today (before the rain), I was thinking what a great day it would be to be out on the bike. And then I remembered my 2 1/2 year old in the back With working shifts and only having 2 weekends off in every five, I'm mightily jealous of everyone that gets out a lot in the week and the big gangs that I'm missing at the weekends It does make me wonder if I'll ever 'catch up' enough to go the distance on a good club run? Thanks to the Old Firm and work, I'll miss the 1st reliability trial (day off cancelled) and the 3rd (not allowed to take the day off) but will be along for the 2nd one! Roll on the lighter evenings so I can get out after earlies Moan over
james-maclaren
Er, just to make you feel a bit better, I work as a church officer, so I hardly ever get out on a Sunday. Cyclocross races excepted!!!!
Life Members chung Posted February 2, 2011 Life Members Report Share Posted February 2, 2011 Hi Richie, I can totally sympathize with your situation, I have a clingy 9 year old son who always put on a sad and makes you guilty face when ever I put on my cycling gear to go out. That's why when (if) I go out, I try to make the most of it and enjoy it as much as possible. Keep it up and try to go out as much as you can! Hope to see you very soon!
