This Saturday will be a big occasion for the club.

The Johnstone Jets will be organising our first Cyclo-Cross / MTB race on home turf. It is likely to be a high profile event with a special award also being made to the club.

On behalf of the other coaches I would request your assistance on Saturday morning with the following at Linwood Sports Centre

We are expecting fifty or so riders. It could easily be double that. There are currently 700 flyers circulating the local area

Help to set out the course at Linwood Sports Centre (8am start)

Help to set up the marquee / registration area (8-9am start)

Help with the sign-on and bike / equipment checks (9:30am start)

Help with marshalling the event 10:00am start

Help with clearing up at the the event ends around 12:30 - 1:00 pm

Come along and support the event, bring your kids, encourage your neighbours' kids, wear your club jersey. No job too small on the day.

Please post below or send me a PM if you think you are able to help on the day

If you require further infomation on the event then follow the linkhttp://www.johnstone-jets.org.uk/latest_news.htm

Hi Tony

help at any time appreciated - thanks very much.

Before 9 we'll be setting out the course, at 11:30 there will be fast and furious racing, so marshals will be sought after.

Of course, we've got to take the whole thing apart again once the racing's over....

See you whenever you can manage.

cheers

M
