I plan to leave Bull's Garage Bridge of Weir at 9 and head down the clubrooms for 9:20, followed by a leisurely shove along the track towards Kilwinning and home for 12-ish. Nae sprints, coffees, or iced cakes, unless deemed absolutely necessary.

If the weather is half decent I'm going to join the Anniesland bunch on Sat am. I aim to wait at Bowling roundabout at 1015ish. ( yes I'm driving to Erskine to conserve vital energy.)

Likely get my legs ripped off, plan to bail out at renton/helensburgh when dropped.

Fancy a spin? Phone me if interested in a lift to the bridge.

Hi Jim

Great run today, thanks for the advice.

We caught a gap in the rain.

I joined at Bowling with a few others, about 25 in total. Steady up to Arrochar, helpful stops for a couple of mechanicals. It then went a bit mental down L Lomondside. The bunch split at Luss but I hung on in the main bunch.

Really good workout. 90k in 2 hrs 40 minutes. Oh ya dancer !

Hope you had a good day. one of the guys said he'd seen some Wheelers north of the river this morning, was that you?

Alan

Glad you enjoyed your 3 lochs trip.

I took a few odd turns close to Kilwinning today, after Ian headed for home.

But I'm almost certain I didn't cross the Clyde.

I think Lomond Roads now have similar colours to the Johnstone Wheelers.

Jim
