man5e Posted July 11, 2006 Report Share Posted July 11, 2006 Prevailing wind conditions returned for this weeks 8 starters providing the usual tougher section to the turn and a nice fast push back along the smooth long straight. As ever though its tough to make up the time lost on the outward stretch. Still some debuts and PB's were the order of the day. Times on the night were, 1. Al Holmes - 15.55 (PB) 2. Ian Manson - 16.19 3. Vicky Begg - 18.11 4. John Anderson - 18.57 5. Howie - 20.09 (First time on course) 6. Willie Holmes - 20.58 (PB - no flat tyre) 7. Joyce McKellar - 21.49 8. Rachael Holmes - 23.20 Those who might have their eye on winning the award take note that it is a 3 event qualifier (of 5) and Round 3 is next Tuesday.
