Sunday 4th August : Whitelees Windfarm Eaglesham
Dave C posted a topic in Sunday Run - Thirty Milers
How about a run to the windfarm if dry. Clubrooms 9 .15am. Miller Street Howwood, Lugton,Dunlop,Stewarton,Fenwick, cyclelane next to old A77 road and cut off to cafe stop at Whitelees Visitor Centre A steady climb on the way up to the windfarm but a great descent to Newton Mearns and down through Barrhead on the way back. Distance is approx 45miles and suitable for newbies and oldies. If cloud cover is low we could plan another destination as i have been to the cafe and there is nothing to see except mist !! Please post up if coming. Dave. -
Looks like heavy rain forecast for this Sunday , so probably won't be out, but if anyone else is feeling brave, please post up. Thinking of Whitelees wind farm for next week if dry. Dave
