Will aim to be there, will you have stopped glowing by then Ginty?
-
Paul, myself and my mate Alan will be out on Sunday. See you at Miller street 09.00 and good shout on joining with intermediates
-
Good shout Mark, nice to support local business. We bypassed on Sunday as did not think the drowned rat look would go down to well with the locals!
-
Too many Paris-Roubaix riders on summer bike which did not bode well at present fitness levels. Sounds like my choice to ride with intermediates group this week was the right one! If some of the main bunch was shredded, must have been a fast pace! Will continue to push the fitness levels and hope to rejoin when up to speed

Enjoyed the run today, thanks for a enjoyable day
-
Winter bike for me
-
Cheers Billy see you Sunday, will let big Alan know
-
Held up at work and sounds like I missed a good run, hope to be out on Sunday
-
I am in, what's the start time at Miller st, 09.00?
-
I will try to make to Bishy hill on Thursday, as won't make Houston for 6pm
-
Hi are you Chung, everything where it should be?
-
Gents what time will you be at the bridge on a Sunday? My mate Alan who was out last week ( and lasted a lot longer than me), is also up for joining the club run. Will probably head back at Drymen as need to play the dutiful son on Sunday
-
Cheers guys much appreciated, hoping I can hang on for as long as possible as I need the miles and fitness. Mark, I'll be one hauling lardy bits to the top!
Unsure if anyone interested, wiggle are doing Hi 5 energy gels, pack of 20, buy 1 get 1 free £20 inc'l delivery.
-
Hi Charlie what kind of distance do you normally do and how fast is the pace?
-
Hi Chung glad to hear you're ok and no permanent damage. One positive was that your crash let me catch up to what was a beltin pace, although once the ambulance disappeared, I was struggling again. Fenwick is a bloody nightmare into the wind, especially as a solo rider! Anyway spoke to big Alan who loved it today and sends his best wishes, sure he'll he a regular from now on. Thanks to Alan Fox and John for offering their wheels to get me back up. Need the miles and will keep pedalling, hoping the fitness comes and can hold my own.
Good luck mate and speedy recovery

George, I know what you mean. Dafs in full bloom, warming weather and the forecast looking good, go for it. Wish I could do the same but summer bike in need of a good service, so will be winter bike for me
-
If the pace is not too much will tag along and see how I fair.

Hi Chung did that run Last year and was around 80 ish miles from Erskine bridge, tough old run mate. Unsure how you'll get to Drymen but I use the farm road from Alexandria to croftamie, bit bumpy but no traffic. Enjoy mate
